Sendatsu means leader or guide in Japanese, and Sendatsu Evolution refers to your transformation from being a bystander to your life to becoming the leader of your life. Sendatsu Evolution is a 200 hour multidisciplinary yoga teacher training that empowers you to facilitate change in your life and to inspire others to do the same.

The life cycle of a leader is a four step process: Initiation, Cultivation, Maturation and Separation. Self-study is the thread that weaves each step together.

The process begins with your initiation to the program and the lifestyle of svadhyaya, or self-study, in order to tap into your innate potential and expand beyond prior self-limiting thoughts and actions. Initiation creates the foundation for cultivation of new information and tools that are rooted in the Yoga Sutras, 8 Limbs of Yoga, Anatomy & Physiology, The Chakras, Ayurveda and Ethics. Your maturation involves putting tools into practice, creating and composing your own classes that honor your authentic voice and message. Finally, your separation includes a graduation ceremony and redefinition of the leader you’ve become throughout the training.

By the time you reach graduation, you will have created a manual to guide your teaching, be able to teach Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra, and be empowered as the leader of your life and able to inspire and shed light on that potential in others.

We know that the evolution towards becoming a leader is difficult–if it weren’t, everyone would do it! We are committed to providing you with the personal and professional resources to support your growth. Lead teacher, Leah Zaccaria, is a Yoga teacher, tax expert, and the owner of shefayoga Venice, shefayoga Roosevelt and hauteyoga Queen Anne. Your evolution as a teacher is enhanced by working one-on-one with Leah as well as with her expertly trained teachers. Additional teachers to be announced soon.

Training will be held Saturday through Friday at shefayoga Venice. Unlimited yoga at shefayoga Venice during your training will deepen your personal practice as you cultivate the professional skills to become a fully empowered teacher and leader.
