The power of breath is integral to our connectedness to body, mind, and heart. Through our connection with our breath, we can make subtle changes to our minds and bodies to support our being.
Tap into the power of the breath through a breathwork series with Penelope Anne. Penny is a practicing speech language pathologist by day, with an in-depth understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system and laryngeal structures related to breath control and voicing. This training compliments the use of breathwork as a yoga practitioner and she is eager to share this with her students.
This series will provide a knowledge base for the respiratory system, strategies for building an awareness of breath quality, and breathing exercises that you can take with you anywhere and everywhere. We’ll get deep into the lungs, heart, and soul with different breathing practices to learn about the effects and power of breath on the mind and body. Each 60 minute virtual class will provide an introduction and practice of a breathing exercise with simple complementary movements. Meet us on the mat to connect as a community through the power of the breath.
