Monday Evening Meditation is a weekly class in meditation and Buddhist psychology with Gen Kelsang Khedrub, Kadampa Meditation Center Washington’s Resident Teacher. Teachings and meditations are currently being derived from the book Universal Compassion by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Everyone can benefit from learning how to overcome anger and develop patience, how to increase love and compassion, and how to apply Buddha’s wisdom teachings to modern life.

Drop in remotely to any class and experience the inner peace brought about by listening to and meditating upon profound Dharma topics.

Date & Time: Lundi, July 13th, 2020 @7pm-8:15pm

Cost: $12, $6 for students/seniors 62+, free for monthly supporters of Kadampa Meditation Center Washington and Tushita Kadampa Buddhist Center in Olympia.

Gen Kelsang Khedrub

Gen Kelsang Khedrub, a Western Buddhist monk, is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington in Seattle. He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s guidance for many years. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone. Through his kindness, humility and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Khedrub provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner we can follow.
