Join Carley all the way from Colorado for a virtual workshop!

This physical class is designed to “heat and greet” your upper body’s musculature in an informative way.

Functional flow is 1) functional, in that we will stimulate muscles you may not have even known you had, and 2) a flow, whereby we move from asana to asana freely in an organic fashion.

Through slower transitions, deeper breathing, variable movement and subtle adaptations to your well known asanas, we’ll access key elements that often get missed in a regular class.

Expect to turn up the dial of awareness, target the areas in your upper back, neck, shoulders and chest that often cause stiffness and soreness, while also working diligently to improve overall mobility, strength and joint health.

(Please note: This is not a restorative class, however there will be moments in which we pause to manipulate our body’s fascial holding patterns within the back, neck, shoulders and chest which will feel restorative.)

Previous yoga experience is recommended. You will need the following props:
Strap OR long sleeve shirt that can be re-purposed as a strap.
Elastic band OR lightweight hand towel (If you are willing to cut it in half length wise that will work too)
Pillow
Any other props you like to use in your yoga classes

Date & Time: Jul.11th, 2020 @12pm-1:30pm
