Meditation is a process of focusing the mind and learning to stay present. This series offers a basic look at meditation including; comfort, concentration, breath and mindfulness techniques. We will address questions and difficulties that arise from our practice and offer simple solutions so that meditation is practical and accessible to everyone. Students will complete the series with a solid foundation in meditation and techniques they can continue to use on their own.

Comfortable clothing suggested. No prior meditation practice required.

Registration will open by December 20, 2020

Thursdays 7:00-8:15PM (Pacific time)
March 11th โ€“ April 15th, 2021

Cost for 6-week series: $150

Note:ย Our series require a minimum of five registered participants, by five days before the start date; if you are considering joining please register early.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds of 90% up to five days prior to start of series. No refunds allowable after that time.

 

About the instructor: Karen Gamble

Karen Gamble Yoga TeacherWhat to expect in Karenโ€™s class: A mix of mindfulness, pranayama and love, love, love. Karen teaches the Intro Series at Phinney Ridge where she provides enough information and self-compassion to motivate students into yoga studios everywhere. She also teaches inspired vinyasa flow and mindful yin classes.
Main Influences/Styles/Traditions: Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Mohammad Ali, Nelson Mandela, Vipassana, Vinyasa, Yin.
