[Live Streamed] Introduction To The Upanishads with Julie Hsu
Oct 11, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm| $30
Today we have many ancient Hindu texts pertinent in yoga that have been translated into English for us to appreciate and use in practice and in life. The Upanishads are a set of beautifully written accounts of what it is like to truly look inward and see the Divine. Having experienced Spirit within, one then recognizes it in all. Although there are many Upanishads known to us today, 10 are considered the principle Upanishads. This workshop will include a short lecture and overview of some of these principle Upanishads, followed by an asana and meditation practice that will include elements from the Upanishads explored.
Held in Phinney Ridge Yoga’s Online Zoom classroom.
Date & Time: Sunday, October 11, 2020 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. (will include a 15-minute break)
