Navigate Pregnancy and Prepare for Birth with Yoga

Find the connection you’ve been looking for during your pregnancy while preparing your body and mind for birth and parenthood. Each four-week prenatal yoga series will offer weekly 1.5 hour classes that include a check-in circle which will give you the opportunity to ask questions, get advice and connect with other parents to be. Weekly classes will also generally focus on addressing the common aches and pains in the pregnant body and each month circles and classes will focus on a specific theme to provide guidance, support and information. Upcoming monthly themes are:
March 9-30: Yoga for Birth: yoga tools & breath to support birth
April 6-27: The Pregnant Pelvis: addressing hip and pelvic pain with yoga
May 4-25: The Pregnant Pelvic Floor: supporting the pelvic floor in pregnancy and preparing for postpartum
June 1-22: Stress & Sleeplessness in Pregnancy: practices to help calm and soothe
Classes are accessible for all levels of students and those new to yoga as well. Please be sure you have clearance from your care provider before beginning prenatal yoga.
If possible, students should have:
Yoga bolster or large firm pillow or blanket.
Yoga blanket or towel.
2 yoga blocks.
All classes will be recorded and available up to one week after the course ends. This will enable students who can’t make it to class due to scheduling conflicts will be able to take the class and/or retake the class afterward. Missed the first class?
