Online Teacher Training with Ellie Rose
Do you have a desire to deepen your current level of practice and or teaching? The sciences of Yoga and Āyurveda offer masterful maps into the inner workings of our psycho-spiritual nature – what these traditions call the Subtle Body or our Sacred Anatomy.
In this module we will dive deeply into a conceptual and experiential exploration of the 5 Koshas (physical body, energetic body, mental/emotional body, wisdom/intuitive body, spirit body) and the Chakras (the 7 main energy centers in the human body that are a roadmap for our healing and evolution) in order to expand our awareness and experience of the mind/body connection while deepening our understanding and connection to the energy that makes us.
Through lecture, discussion, reflection, and practice participants will acquire:
✓ A thorough understanding of the historical and philosophical context of the origins of these teachings.
✓ An individual experience of these subtle energies and how they can be balanced through asana, pranayama, meditation, and chanting
✓ A new awareness of your subtle body and its power to influence, inform and shape us (our biography becomes our biology)
✓ And for teachers potent tools and methods for weaving these teachings into a standard yoga class
