Oct 10, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm| $30
Join me as I guide you through specific yoga and meditation practices to help you calm/uplift the busy mind that is limiting you from loving your authentic being. We will sit in satsang, “sacred gathering”, and I will lead you through an authentic and honest discussion on ways we can continue to lead our powerful selves in this journey of life. 50/50 practice and discussion. I hope to see you online xx
“We all see those ads on social media about buying the newest soy candle or vegan treats all in favor for self-love and care. Before you know it, you’re $$$ down the drain. But let’s be honest, self love is much more than the external factors. If anything it is more about how you feel emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. This can be really difficult and on those murky days, those automatic negative thoughts (ANTs) can start rolling in.
I hear you. I understand you. I get it. And I am here for YOU.” – Excerpt from the “Self Love Collection” that you will receive

About the instructor: Madeleine Bong
I was introduced to yoga at a young age. Therefore, I have been fortunate to be surrounded with a family of yogis but I found my personal passion for the practice after suffering from a spinal compression fracture in early 2017. Yoga healed the physical, emotional, and mental pain from my injury, but my love for the practice grew when I found it was helping my relationship with myself and others.
My mission is to guide practitioners in self-inquiry to cultivate self-compassion and empathy for Mother Nature and all beings through movement, breath, and meditation. By doing so, I envision a world of growing awareness and mindfulness from a space of safety, love, and joy. My aim is to provide a safe space for all beings. I acknowledge the uniqueness of one’s experience and therefore teach from a trauma informed lens. This means, but is not limited to: offering variations, open communication, consent before touch, and finding the right practice for You.
I am originally from California, USA but I completed my 200 Hr TT in Melbourne, Australia and am currently working on an additional 250 Hr TT. I have studied and continue to study under the guidance of various teachers such as Duncan Parviainen, Leigh Roy Houghton, Amy Leonard-King, and Gena Kenny.
I acknowledge the necessary growth within the yoga community and stand with BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities. My hope is to continue educating myself and becoming more aware to offer a safe space for ALL.
