When it comes to urdhva dhanurasana (wheel pose) or viparita dandasana (forearm wheel), we tend to press down into our feet and hands and just hope for the best. While we might achieve lift-off, this approach often overlooks the important intricacies of the pose and leave us less informed. Join Tate and learn about how this pose can work for your unique form and feel good in your body!
Curious about what to expect from this workshop? You will:

About the instructor: Tate Englund
Being a lifelong athlete, playing basketball, football, and soccer competitively, Tate decided to give yoga a try after reading an article on how his Seahawks were doing yoga as a way to improve their performance as well as a way to help prevent injury. From the very first vinyasa class he took, he was hooked.
Tate’s classes are challenging, yet accessible, where he blends alignment, strength & mindfulness to get his students to truly understand what is happening in their body at that moment. His clear, concise verbal cuing allows for students move into, hold, and move out postures safely and successfully.
