Yin Yoga is a grounding practice that consists of long held poses, giving our body’s the time and space to surrender, soften and relax. This week we’ll be focusing on poses that are great right before bedtime. Relaxing the nervous system and preparing us to a restful night of sleep.

About the instructor: Shannon Slevin
Shannon is a local teacher from Bothel. She holds a 200-hour training under her belt from an Iyengar yoga school and a degree in exercise science and Wellness from Bastyr University. Shannon’s been practicing yoga since 2010 from various places. From the beginning, she knew she wanted to be a teacher! Coming from multiple yoga backgrounds she loves to give her class an uplifting fusion and variety of Asana practices. Whether a beginner or seasoned student, Shannon creates a mindful environment for you to flow safely and freely. She offers progression and modifications so everyone can feel centered in their practice. When Shannon is not on her mat. She is hula hooping, fire dancing, eating chocolate or doing any other kind of circus art that she can get herself into.
