Senior 8 Limbs Yoga Centers Teacher Trainer, Melina Meza, is here to offer her expertise and deep understanding of yoga on and off the mat. Our teacher tune-up with Melina includes community building exercises, asana sequences that creatively weave in the use of props, inclusive language, and alignment principles to keep participants safe and wanting more classes with you! Melina has been teaching for over 20 years, was co-director or director of 8 Limbs Yoga Centers for 16 years, has self-published the book Seasonal Health and Wellness and a three-book series called The Art of Sequencing, is featured on popular video channels (YogaAnytime, YogaUOnline, and Gaia), co-leads Yoga for Healthy Aging trainings, and previously ran successful yoga retreats before the Covid pandemic.

Cost: $200 through October 2nd, $210 after.

About the instructor: Melina Meza

Melina MezaMelina has been exploring the art and science of yoga and nutrition for over 20 years. She combines her knowledge of Hatha Yoga, Ayurveda, whole foods nutrition, and healthy lifestyle promotion into a unique style called Seasonal Vinyasa. Melina’s Seasonal Vinyasa Yoga classes emphasize the teachings of the yogis—that there is no separation between humans and nature, and we are all one. In addition to asana practice, her classes include insights on physical health and nutrition as well as how to inspire self-knowledge that allows for the conscious adjustment of day-to-day choices.
