Developed more than 2000 years ago in Thailand, Thai Massage (often referred to as Thai “Yoga” Massage) is an ancient healing practice that combines yoga-like poses, rhythmic compressions, breath work, and meditation to calm the mind and restore the body. It respects the body’s limits by using passive-assisted stretching to reach the edges of flexibility, but never beyond. It is easy to learn and fun to practice!

During this hands-on workshop, you and your partner will practice both giving and receiving deeply relaxing Thai Massage techniques to relieve head, neck, and shoulder tension. No experience required! Perfect for couples, family members, or best friends!

 

Requested Materials: Although we have plenty of blankets at the studio, please feel free to bring along some of your own or other cushioning to create a comfortable workspace.
