Join us for Peaceful Warriors: A 8 week fall yoga series for older tweens, aged 11+…  Because prepping for teen years is hard work!

Life happens so fast, and it can be hard to adjust as a tween, especially during middle school! Help your 11-13 year old learn mindful movement and breathing practices to help them cope with these crucial years of life changes.

We’ll use movement, body awareness and fun to help your tween learn to use these practices in their daily lives. Yoga not only helps the body become flexible, but also the mind. They’ll be better equipped to handle anxiety, stress, life changes and daily happenings.

About the instructor:  Ellie Griffin

Ellie Griffin

Ellie’s classes are empowering and playful. They emphasize awareness and sometimes include a short meditation. She offers modifications for every level and welcomes beginners and advanced students.

Ellie’s yoga practice began in 2003 after going through a rough life patch as a teenager.

Yoga began to make her think less and feel more. She practiced sporadically over the next several years until moving to Seattle in 2013, when her daily practice began. This sparked a passion in her.
Realizing this was her passion, she wanted to share yoga with as many people as possible. She found Baptiste style yoga and completed her 200 hour teacher training at Be Luminous Yoga in 2016. Since then she’s completed several trainings, including a mentorship, restorative and Pranayama trainings with more to come.
