Please bring a donation for the Stanwood/Camano Food Bank.

Please prepare for the day’s weather: sunscreen for sun; layers for overcast; postponement for rain (we won’t practice if it’s raining on our mats).

About the instructor: Carol Mason

Carol MasonCarol Mason, ERYT, and Director of Movement Arts has been practicing Hatha, Vinyasa yoga and Pilates since 2000, Yin yoga since 2008. What was originally a means of getting back into fitness turned into a deep appreciation for yoga’s subtle magic on grounding spiritual principles into physical practice. Carol completed her 200 hour teacher training at Movement Arts in 2012. She continues to deepen her practice by studying with Douglas Keller every year, to gain a comprehensive understanding of both physical and subtle anatomy. Balancing the more meditative and calming aspects of Yin with the more energizing aspects of Vinyasa Flow and Pilates, her schedule provides a dynamic and transformative collection of classes. Committed to physical alignment, mindfulness on and off the mat, connection to the breath and living with joy. Carol and her husband have operated their own travel company specializing in travel to Europe since 1992. She lives on Camano Island with her husband and enjoys travel, kayaking, gardening, reading and time with friends and family.
