[Live Streamed] Prenatal Yoga Series: Navigate Pregnancy and Prepare for Birth with Yoga

Find the connection you’ve been looking for during your pregnancy while preparing your body and mind for birth and parenthood. Each four-week prenatal yoga series will offer weekly 1.5 hour classes that include a check-in circle which will give you the opportunity to ask questions, get advice and connect with other parents to be. Weekly classes will also generally focus on addressing the common aches and pains in the pregnant body and each month circles and classes will focus on a specific theme to provide guidance, support and information. Upcoming monthly themes are:
✓ January: changes to the pregnant core and how to minimize abdominal separation
✓ February: prenatal posture
✓ March: yoga tools for supporting birth
Classes are accessible for all levels of students and those new to yoga as well. Please be sure you have clearance from your care provider before beginning prenatal yoga.
If possible, students should have:
✓ Yoga bolster or large firm pillow or blanket.
✓ Yoga blanket or towel.
✓ 2 yoga blocks.
All classes will be recorded and available up to two week after the course ends. This will enable students who can’t make it to class due to scheduling conflicts will be able to take the class and/or retake the class afterward.

Cost: $80 for 4-week series
Note: Our series require a minimum of five registered participants, by five days before the start date; if you are considering joining please register early.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds of 90% up to five days prior to start of series. No refunds allowable after that time.
About the instructor: Megan Sloan
A mama of two herself, Megan Sloan has been offering prenatal and postnatal classes for over 10 years. She is a Yoga Alliance 500hr-RYT and RPYT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher) with over 5,000 hours of teaching experience. She is also the lead faculty member of the 8 Limbs Pre/Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training and is the author of two books about yoga and pregnancy. She is a firm believer that every person has a right to choose what is best for their body, their birth and their family. She also hopes that through providing education and resources, she can provide a space that is safe and welcoming for new parents and parents-to-be, to explore their ever-changing bodies and find support for the unique experiences that are part of all the stages of becoming a parent.
