Preparation for yoga teacher training & in-depth practitionner courses with Richard Schachtel

Are you considering taking one of the yoga teacher trainings and in-depth trainings offered by The Center For Yoga of Seattle in the Next Year or Two? If so you might consider receiving some extra preparation with this optional teacher training prep course given by Richard Schachtel.

In this 6 session course you will get to experience what an in-depth study of some core yoga poses is like, and to get a heads up as to what one looks for in doing and teaching a pose correctly. This course takes place on the following dates: 11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 1/13, 1/20, 1/20.

Those that take the training will feel more confident in knowing some basics before the actual trainings start. The course can be especially helpful for those who are new to the Alignment-Oriented Yoga System of Iyengar Yoga.

The course is especially recommended for those thinking of enrolling in the upcoming One Year Tuesday Evening Training as well as the One Year Weekend Training. Those who prefer the 4 week immersion teacher training format can also benefit by some pre-course specific training. We are not planning to offer this course in the next year, so think about joining this unique opportunity.

Those joining the Tuesday Evening Course will be able to begin focusing and developing their personal yoga practice in accordance with the basic principles as taught in Iyengar Yoga Classes and Trainings.
