In the Sattva yoga journey, multiple tools of yoga are put together to create a journey with a theme, making them holistic and potentially transformational experiences. In this journey, we will be exploring the yogic approach to detoxification. Springtime is often considered the time to release toxins on all levels – in the physical body, energetic body, and mental/emotional body. Pranayama, kriya, meditation and asana will be utilized. Those without experience with kriyas will gain familiarity with the depth these practices offer. They are often repetitive practices, involving movement, the breath, and sometimes mantra. Unlike in drop-in classes, asana will not be the primary practice but will be used to assist in detoxification, grounding, and distribution of energy. This particular journey will have more heating kriyas, pranayama practices, and asanas to support detoxification.

Please come with an empty stomach and an open mind!
