The goals of Yoga and Ayurveda are the same; to provide optimal health and support for our minds, bodies, and souls; to seek balance and unity within.

Yoga offers us tools to care for our mind, whereas Ayurveda offers a way to maneuver through life in a harmonious way with nature. These sibling practices are intended to be practiced alongside one another; rather than separate, which is often the case in the Western world. Sheetal’s goal is to shine light on the forgotten sister science of Yoga; Ayurveda. This workshop-series teaches practitioners the simple yet potent principles of Ayurveda, which may be the missing link in finding balance, calm, and ease in our day-to-day lives.

Ritusandhi, or the transition between seasons, is a delicate period and is often the cause of many imbalances within our mind and body systems. In this series, we will explore the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and how we can weave this knowledge into our daily life for a smoother transition.

Fall marks the shift from sun-filled, never-ending days to cooler, dryer, darker, shorter days. This shift can be a welcome change, but can also bring on an array of imbalances & discomforts such as bloating, dry skin, aches and pain in body, anxiety, wavering mind, and feelings of emptiness. Ayurveda, similar to Yoga, is an experiential practice. Sheetal will provide you with an abundance of knowledge and guide you in choosing an appropriate diet and lifestyle to not only have a smoother transition this season, but hopefully start you off on a lifelong journey to your optimal health.

This workshop will include:

Foundational principles of Ayurveda

Appropriate diet and lifestyle for the Fall season

Introduction to herbs and simple recipes

Yoga for the Autumn season

This workshop-series will continue in the Spring!
