Modern life is stressful – all of us experience stress at some point in our lives, and for many of us it becomes a chronic condition. We work too hard, don’t sleep enough, are overwhelmed by the news and the political climate, and are glued to our screens. When stress becomes chronic, it can take a toll on our physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Luckily, yoga can help. Join Meghan, a yoga teacher and psychotherapist, for this workshop that will help you develop a self-care routine for our high stress lives. Meghan will guide you through yoga poses, mindfulness practices, somatic techniques and breathing exercises that have been shown to significantly lower the stress response and increase resilience and wellbeing. All levels welcome, no experience necessary.
