Have you recently graduated from a 200 hour teacher training program? Are you wondering what next steps to take in pursuit of your career of teaching yoga?

It is common to feel excitement paired with the uncertainty about how to dive into the yoga teaching profession. We are excited to offer this Sendatsu Next Level Leadership Program in Venice California! Next Level Leadership with owner of shefayoga Venice, hauteyoga Queen Anne, shefayoga Roosevelt and Sendatsu Evolution, Leah Zaccaria and beloved Seattle based teacher Morgan Zion. Building on the skills you’ve learned over 200 hours of study, Next Level Leadership provides opportunities to receive real-time feedback as you hone your language, voice and cueing; practice assisting; create themes that can be elegantly woven throughout your classes; develop creative and intelligent sequences; and delve into the business world of yoga, incorporating everything from ethics to taxes.

After this additional 50 hours of intensive study, you will be provided the opportunity to audition for a position on the sub list of hauteyoga or shefayoga, an opportunity usually reserved for teachers with at least one year of experience.

Program Details:

  • Dates: Monday June 26th through Friday June 30th, 2023
  • Location: shefayoga Venice 245 Mains St. Venice, CA
  • Time: Every day 7:00am to 5:00pm (Friday special schedule due to final teaching schedule)

Typical Daily Schedule:

  • 7:00 am – 8:45 am Asana Practice
  • 8:45 am – 9:30 am Breakfast Break
  • 9:30 am – 12:30 pm Study of the Day
  • 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm Lunch Break
  • 2:00pm – 5:00pm Workshop/One on One Coaching

Total cost: $849 ($725 for Sendatsu Evolution 200 hour graduates)
$300 non-refundable deposit reserves your spot. Remainder due by June 15th.

About the instructors: Leah Zaccaria & Morgan Zion

Leah ZaccariaLeah Zaccaria is an accountant turned yogi entrepreneur. She was a licensed CPA for 15 years with a Masters in Taxation until about 8 years ago. She went through a personal transformation and in that process found yoga. Yoga helped her see her life for what it was and what she wanted it to be. She decided to take a huge leap of courage and open her own yoga studio. She opened hauteyoga Queen Anne in 2009 with 2 other partners. Within 6 months, the business was booming with much tenacity and hard work. Within 2 years, she bought out her other partners, became a yoga teacher, left corporate America and started the process of opening her second yoga studio. shefayoga Roosevelt opened in 2013. She has also created Sendatsu Evolution which holds two different teacher trainings a year. She launched her book SEEN: a memoir in October 2018.

 

 

Morgan-ZionYears ago, Morgan Zion traded her career as a UX Designer to teach yoga and create full time. She began practicing yoga as a collegiate soccer player to help improve her flexibility and mental focus. She continued to practice for many years before she began her teaching journey. She has traveled around the world to learn from the best yoga, fitness and mobility teachers in the game, which has given her a wide range of knowledge for her students and personal practice.

Morgan’s classes are energizing, athletic, challenging and infused with high-energy music. She prepares and builds up her classes for advanced postures, inversions, and arm balances.

Morgan is also a muralist, and paints in Seattle and around the world. No matter when you catch her, she is upbeat and always ready to make moves.
