Join Megan each month for an evening of relaxation.

These unique events are perfect for anyone looking for an opportunity to relax and unwind. Megan will combine the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls with guided Yoga Nidra to help the body and nervous system drop into a place of deep rest and relaxation.

Curious about what to expect? Students will be invited into a supported savasana (a reclining position with the support of yoga props), after which Megan will begin the Yoga Nidra, much like a guided meditation, designed to keep the brain in the state we are in during “good sleep”.

Following the guided meditation, she will play crystal singing bowls to help bring them into a deeper state of relaxation and healing. This practice uses the power of sound and vibration to help the body and nervous system relax, much like a massage might do, and students often report that following a sound bath they feel clearer, calmer and sometimes report decreases in physical body pain and often a better night’s sleep.

The evening will close with a silent meditation to help bring balance to the system after the experience of so much sound and also allow time for personal reflection and exploration.

What to expect in Megan’s classes: Megan’s classes vary from gentle to vigorous and incorporate modifications appropriate to all levels. She offers a style that is accessible, easy to understand and woven together with depth and humor. Her specialty is creating a nurturing space for mamas to explore in her weekly prenatal and postnatal classes. All of her classes are often focused on the lunar and seasonal cycles, and meditation and breathwork geared toward accessing energy and the chakra system. You can also join her for weekly yoga nidra practice and regular sound bath offerings.
