Sound Bath | Performed by McKenzie Riepen
April 7 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm| $35
Join this event for an evening of Rest, Relaxation & Healing
Restorative yoga and meditation instructor McKenzie Riepen will guide you through breathwork and sound into a deep, meditative “theta state” so that your central nervous system can relax, leading to the release of physical tension and elevation in your mood.
A sound bath is a full-body experience where the participants are “bathed” in sound waves while lying comfortably on their mats in suggested restorative shapes, supported by cushions, blankets, and other comfortable props. The sound waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles and tuning forks. Sound baths are considered a healing modality that may reduce pain, elevate mood, relieve stress, and deepen the mind-body connection.
The experience will begin with breathwork and/or very gentle movement to prepare the body and mind, followed by the sound immersion, and will conclude with an invitation to reflect and share with other participants.
In order to ensure the best experience for all, please allow yourself enough time to arrive, set up any props you choose, and be on your mat by 7pm or you may be denied entry.
Date and Time: Avril 7, 2023 7:00pm – 8:30pm
