Sound Immersion with Sara Harvey Yao and Roger Tjoelker
May 24 @ 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm| $30
Join Sara and Roger as they weave together the ancient healing sounds of crystal singing bowls and planetary gongs. The vibrational frequency of the sounds produced by these instruments facilitate healing through a process called sonic entrainment which brings harmony and balance into the body. The benefits of the sound bath extend to all aspects of our being – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Beyond the science of sound healing is also a bit of mystery and must be experienced to be fully understand its power.
We will begin with a short introduction and transition into the session with bringing awareness to the breath and body. We will then play the instruments for about an hour and end with a few moments of silence to integrate the experience.
Dress comfortably and bring whatever you need to be comfortable (blanket, pillow, etc.) for lying or sitting on the floor.
