The Invitation

Travel with us to beautiful Troncones, Mexico for a yoga experience designed to bring you into deep connection with nature, community, yourself and your Self. When you step away from your daily habits, responsibilities and stresses, and enter an intentional space of presence, what is possible for you to feel? To think? To glimpse? To embody? What joy is waiting for you? What insight? What spark?

We’ll explore using the practices of yoga as a tool for our homecoming: to meet ourselves, and our lives, with clarity, kindness, and the potency of spirit. We’ll traverse through the dual realms of our being – first, our individual selves – befriending ourselves and supporting healthy ego formation. And then, we expand into the realm of the universal, tapping into the golden luminosity, infinite connection, and boundless love that is Self. You are both at the same time: mundane and sacred, human and divine. Can you sense it?

Julia and Nancy will weave together a mix of offerings from uplifting Vinyasa & Hatha classes, guided meditation, and restful yin, restorative and breath practices. A special session or two may be included as well catered to group interest.

About the instructor: Nancy Lea & Julia Hollenberg

Nancy-Lea

Hi, I’m Nancy!

with more than 20 years of practice and ten years of teaching experience.

Based in Seattle, WA, I teach with intention, a sense of humor, and an open heart. I lead weekly studio classes in person and on Zoom; offer private yoga sessions; and facilitate yoga retreats throughout the Pacific Northwest and at various international locations.

My classes offer students a balance of stability with fluidity, and alignment with ease. I teach all the eight limbs of yoga, and each class is anchored to breath.

I feel yoga infuses daily living with a sense of joy, wonderment, and peace. I encourage students to move beyond their physical practice and to experience off the mat the self-love and awareness they have cultivated in their practice. My teaching has been described as nourishing, clear, insightful and “a beautiful, peaceful practice that strengthens the body and calms the mind.”

I believe that our wisest teacher lies within our own hearts and guides us through the world with grace, compassion, kindness, and love. I humbly share this sacred practice of yoga from a place of deep respect for and knowledge of the ancient teachings, my own teachers, and all the teachers that came before them.
