Sooner or later we all need to do some practices that tone our bodies. A good yoga practice is not just stretching exercises! Yoga develops useful and practical strength that helps us in everyday life. Good strength aids our ability to hold poses which increase our energy and develops our life force. Holding poses is a more mature yoga practice. Even strengthening poses help keep us limber and agile! These poses are good to practice in the cooler months as they warm the body from the inside. We’ll be practicing poses that create useful strength in our legs, arms, shoulders, and back muscles. The workshop is open to all levels of students even beginners.

The workshop will be based upon Iyengar Yoga. The Workshop is held at The Center For Yoga of Seattle in Ravenna and is taught by Richard Schachtel, one of the most experienced yoga teachers in the Pacific Northwest with over 30 years of teaching experience.

Price:

  • $30  when booked in advance by Friday 3/31
