rvisPlease join certified Yoga Therapist, Amy Jarvis, for this specially curated, holistic 6-week series.
This series will weave together the healing practices of yoga including gentle movement, subtle strengthening, guided relaxation & meditation, breath-work, and more.

You will learn about the different physical and energetic layers in the body and mind, imparting the knowledge that yoga is not just a physical practice of poses, but much, much more. We will utilize the Pancha Maya Model. This is a holistic approach will allow students to connect more deeply with body, mind, and spirit.

The Pancha Maya Model uses the five layers of self as a means to view ourselves in parts, and as a whole being. The five layers consist of: Annamaya -The Physical body; Pranamaya -The Energy body; Manamaya -The Mental-Emotional body; Vijnanamaya -The Wisdom body; Anandamaya -The Bliss body.

Each class will be therapeutically designed to best support the physical goals and needs of each student. Within the movement portion of class, Amy will guide you progressively through each layer from above; helping you foster a deeper connection with the self. Written materials will be provided to support your new selfcare tools.

All levels of practitioners are welcome to join. This is a wonderful choice for students who have enjoyed Yoga for Health & Healing, Restorative/Yin Yoga, and Gentle Yoga.

About the instructor: Amy Jarvis

Amy M. Jarvis I fell in love with yoga to introduce calm and contentment into my life after leading an active youth as a nationally ranked figure skater, repeat marathon runner, and successful professional in corporate construction management. Since 1995, I have been deepening my own practice of self-discovery through the principles of yoga: Asana (gentle movement), Pranayama (breath control), and Nidra (guided meditation). As I mastered this fine study of movement in my own journey, I began to feel passionate about guiding others in the power of yoga to benefit their bodies and minds on and off the mat.

In 2007, I received my 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Certification and started a business called, ENLIVEN here. As I collaborated with my clients to adapt the tools of yoga to meet their health goals, I began to recognize a gap between yoga and healthcare. Often my clients had acute health needs that I intuited could be addressed through the art of yoga. So, I pursued and completed my IATY Certification in 2013, allowing me to bridge ancient yoga practice with contemporary healthcare modalities such as physical therapy, chiropractic practice, and sports medicine.

My unique method of tailoring each class to the specific needs of the attendees has been held in such high regard, that I have been asked by other passionate yogis to pass on my wisdom through a teacher training program. In 2017, I earned my credential as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) and just two years later ENLIVEN here became an Accredited/Registered Yoga School (RYS). I’m so proud to have graduated my first class in 2020 and look forward to sharing my knowledge with others hoping to teach the power of yoga.

When not teaching, Amy loves spending time with her 11-year-old son and husband in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley in Washington
