About the instructor: Lizz Johnson
Like a lot of people, Lizz first came to yoga through the postural practice. After a couple years of attending drop-in classes, they began to look for ways to deepen their practice. That’s when Lizz found the Samarya Center – a yoga school and the home of Integrated Movement Therapy (IMT).
During this time of study, yoga as a philosophy – as a daily practice, as a way of being a human in the world – opened up, and deepened Lizz’s understanding and connection to a practice they already loved. Lizz has studied yoga and IMT with the Samarya Center since 2016 and has earned their 200HR and 500HR yoga teacher certifications (RYT) and Integrated Movement Therapy certification (C-IMT).
