~Logistics for getting into the building~

You will meet Janice in the lobby as a key card is required to get to the 5th floor on the weekends. The building doors are located in the courtyard right next to Aerlume Restaurant in the Market Place building 2003. Text or call 206.478.6782 Janice if you have any questions or trouble finding the place.

Parking is pretty rough as most of you know it is Seattle. There is a parking garage under the building or street parking is available. Car pool and public transportation are a great way too!

 

 

About the instructors:

Nickole Thornton Gonzales

Nickole Thornton Gonzales, LMT, CAP, CYT

Director and Founder of NW Ayurveda, Massage, and Yoga Center in West Seattle.

Nickole will lead you through a slow Yoga Flow that focuses on Alignment. She began her yoga practice in 1996 with the principles of Iyengar. Over the years, she developed her own unique style which blends Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Bhakti, and Ayur Yoga. In 2000, she began her Ayurvedic career under the direction of Dr. Vasant Lad at The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In November of 2008, Nickole attended the Sivananda Ashram in Neyyar Dam, India where she attained Sivanada Yoga certification. While in India, she also attend the Guru Kula program to study Ayurvedic Assessments with Dr. Vasant Lad. Ayurveda works with each individual to bring the body back into a place of balance. Ayurveda is a sister science of yoga.

 

Janice Bumgarner

 

Janice Bumgarner, Chief Director LMT at TranZend Seattle PLLC has practiced massage therapy since 2007. She has developed her skills to hone in with precision on troubled areas with intuitive touch focusing on structural integratiy with skills like Sports massage, Chinese Cupping/Gua Sha, Mana Lomi, Kinesio Tape. She primarily works with all walks of life including pregnancy, athletes and desk jockies working to help maintain flexibility and elasticity or rehabilitate old/new injuries. She has opened her Massage Therapy office located on Western and Lenora just North of Pike Place Market for these events to help encourage others transcend and achieve better health and wellness.
