Join Auryel for a practice full of earth and heart, to honor the nurturing spirit in each of us.
This class will bookend Auryel’s strong Vinyasa style with plenty of time for opening meditation & warmups at the start, and a long Yin cool down leading into savasana. Throughout the practice, her words of encouragement will help to nourish and replenish you, honoring all that you give of yourself to those around you and to the world.

About the instructor: Auryel Van Gemert

Auryel has been a devoted yoga practitioner and teacher for over 30 years. In addition to her extensive knowledge of the physical aspects of yoga, Auryel has a colorful background in meditation, breath work, healing and mysticism. She studied Bhakti yoga for 12 years before she practiced a single asana. She initially came into her yoga practice to find peace in the midst of anxiety and depression. The joy that her own practice has brought to her life is something that she is dedicated to sharing with her students. The heart of Auryel’s asana teaching is a dynamic vinyasa practice, infused with a connection to self-awareness, the ability to inhabit one’s own skin and bones, the opportunity to expand concentration, and meditation and breath practices to relieve the stresses of life. Auryel’s greatest influence is her beloved teacher and mentor, Lino Alelyunas.
