Take advantage of the beautiful weather this season with outdoor yoga classes this June. Each week will feature different TruFusion yoga instructors, and highlight their signature style of teaching. Free to the public (each participant must sign a waiver at the park). All-ages and pets welcome!
*Weather-permitting — in the event of poor weather, class will be moved inside to TruFusion Bellevue
About the instructor: Kelsey Clark
Kelsey Clark was encouraged by her yoga family to train for the USA Yoga Asana Nevada Regionals. She didn’t have any expectations – the competition was for personal growth. However, Kelsey was awarded the third place in Nevada State! She slowly started exploring different styles of yoga and thirsted to continually challenge her practice and knowledge.
In the Spring of 2014, she completed Baptiste Level One teacher training in Sedona. It was an extremely challenging week but was a first, transformative step to learning more about herself and her practice.
In February 2016, Kelsey completed the Trufusion 200 hour RTY yoga teacher training led by Mark Balfe-Taylor in Las Vegas, Nevada. The comprehensive course schedule was exemplary, but what Kelsey did not anticipate was the new perspective she would acquire through training. She started to evaluate what made her happy, and what she needed to let go of in her life. Once training commenced, she made the decision to leave her eighty hours/week job and pursue teaching yoga full-time. Kelsey became a member of the Trufusion Travel Team and spent time in Miami opening Trufusion Coral Gables, as well as Trufusion’s Hamptons pop-up, summer of 2018. In January of 2019, the opportunity to move back home to Washington State as Director of Yoga, TruFusion Bellevue, arose. Kelsey couldn’t be happier to be a part of such an energetic, innovative team that is ready to change the fitness and yoga scene in the Pacific Northwest.
