About the Teacher: Rebecca Young
What to expect in Rebecca’s classes: Rebecca’s weekly Phinney Ridge classes introduce tweens and teens to the wide world of yoga. How can we feel yoga in our bodies and our breath? How can we take yoga off the mat into our daily lives at school or when we’re trying to get to sleep at night? Young yogis explore yoga through movement, breath, meditation, music, art, and literature. Classes are fun and creative and encourage an atmosphere of respect and working together to build community.
Main Influences/Styles/Traditions: Next Generation Yoga & Hatha Yoga, breath work & mindfulness.
