Treat yourself to this nourishing workshop that combines acupuncture with restorative yoga on Valentines Day. Please join Brittnie, Dana and Darla on Friday, February 14 from 7-8:30pm as Darla guides you through the restorative practice. Brittnie and Dana, licensed acupuncturists, will use tuning forks throughout the practice and acupuncture needles in the final Svasana to promote deep relaxation and seasonal balancing. Props will be used for support in these longer held postures, with the intention of calming the nervous system and quieting the mind. About the instructor: Darla Mosse

Darla Mosse

Darla began practicing yoga regularly in 2007 for exercise. It soon became much more than just a physical practice. It became a way of being in the world for her. Darla completed the 200 hour teacher training through 8 Limbs Yoga in 2013 and has been teaching yoga since 2014. She is currently working towards obtaining her 500 hour teacher training certification through 8 Limbs Yoga. The practice Darla teaches is flowing and focuses greatly in connecting breath with movement so that the practice becomes a moving meditation. Also, she believes yoga should be fun and laughter is always welcome. In addition to teaching yoga, Darla is a RN and works with people who have chemical dependency and mental health issues.
