Who participates in a training like this?

You! There are no prerequisites to become a We Yoga certified teacher trainee. It does not matter how long you’ve been practicing or what advanced yoga asanas you can bend into. All you need is an earnest desire to delve deeper into the inner-workings of yoga and a commitment to being present to the discipline and joy of time spent examining and growing.

Where are the courses held?

The training courses and adjoining yoga classes will be held at the We Yoga Co. in the University District, located at 4511 Roosevelt Way NE in Seattle, WA.

What to expect:

This complete 200hr Yoga Alliance Registered teacher training will provide a broad understanding of yoga as a practice and a craft, while creating space for trainees to focus on the specific aspects of yoga they are drawn to – both from the perspective of practitioner and instructor. Teachers in Training will be exposed to the essential philosophies and sciences of yoga including Anatomy, Alignment, Eight Limbed Path Theory, Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga History as well as methods to apply these concepts to their yoga and teaching practices. Upon completing this program participants will be able to demonstrate the skills of yoga instruction in a professional setting. The program will provide comprehensive training in the practical craft of leading a yoga class. With plenty of opportunities to participate in the physical practice of yoga, this training is not only a great way to begin your journey as a yoga teacher, but is also a wonderful way to develop a more resonant understanding of yourself and explore your yogic process.
