Hot Hatha Donation Class at We Yoga Co. in Honor of Eric Medalle

On March 13, 2016, Eric Medalle was killed tragically in an accident during a windstorm at Seward Park in Seattle. He leaves behind two girls, Isa (6) and Nico (nearly 2), and his wife Carrie, a dedicated teacher in a high needs school in south Puget Sound. Eric’s daughters were the center of his world, and their well-being and education was of the utmost importance to him. Education and curiosity are important Medalle family values. Eric was raised in Detroit and graduated a proud Wolverine from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He was passionate about art, photography, music, and design, and his chosen hometown of Seattle provided endless inspiration. It was in Seattle that Eric met and fell in love with his wife Carrie, and together they created a beautiful life and family. Eric’s expectation for his daughters was to attend college. To honor that expectation, we are requesting donations to ensure that college remains a reality for his girls. It is important that Isa and Nico are able to learn and grow, to discover what they love and pursue it to the fullest, just as their father did. This memorial fund will exist as a means for ongoing education and lifelong learning, a pathway that Eric helped to pave for his girls.
