We are starting a Weekday Evening 200 Hour Yoga New Teacher Training on May 7th, 2019, meeting on Tuesdays 6pm-10pm.

This training is for those who want to teach yoga, for those who want to build a personal yoga practice, as well as for those interested in deepening an existing practice. It is also terrific continuing education for current yoga teachers who want to learn this prominent alignment based yoga system. The course is approved by Yoga Alliance as a 200 Hour Training. Graduates will be able to join Yoga Alliance and be recognized as a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher.

This course has been a great success with many yoga students coming from throughout the Whole Puget Sound Region. Many have developed a personal yoga practice and are developing valuable skills to use in teaching yoga.

The fee for the course is $3450. It meets 45 times. We are running a Special on This Course of $999 through Monday, MARCH 11, 2019, at Midnight. Register Now and Save a Lot!

Students attend this training from Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Everett, Bainbridge and Whidbey Islands, and well as Seattle and its close in suburbs.

You will be able to make-up missed sessions at the other offering of this class either daytimes or weekends during the course and for a 6-month period after the course ends.

After this 6 months free grace period, missed hours are charged at a rate of $25 per class hour.

1-Year after your course ends, make-ups options end.

In the event the start date of the course is postponed, the course will still end by August 25, 2020, and no refunds will be issued.

For those wishing to transfer from this course to another teacher training offered by the Center For Yoga of Seattle, there is a $350 transfer fee. Teacher trainings in India are not available to be transferred to.

About the Teacher: Richard Schachtel

Richard SchachtelRichard Schachtel has been training in Iyengar Yoga for over 40 years which emphasis developing a practice with a high degree of precision of alignment. He founded The Center For Yoga in 1980 and is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and an authorized Iyengar Yoga Teacher Trainer. He has made 22 yoga study trips to India to personally train with the Iyengar Family most recently in December 2017. Richard is the Seattle Area’s most Senior Iyengar Yoga Teacher. Richard has been training teachers in Seattle since 1986 and has influenced several generations of yoga teachers. There are over 125 recent graduates of this program which is offered also on the weekends, and in 4 week immersions.
