Unwind on Monday nights with some relaxing meditation and basic Buddhist teachings on the potential of the mind. Perfect for those new to meditation and for those with some experience.

The potential for real happiness and freedom lies within the mind, and accessing this potential is the way to fullfil our deepest wish for peace and happiness. The classes in this October series will explore key teachings and contemplations that help us access the power and joy within. With a more peaceful, fearless mind, we can bring peace and courage into our community and world.

Linda Fane is a longtime Buddhist practitioner who is admired for her deeply insightful, heartfelt and accessible teaching style. Following the lead of her teachers, she takes a modern approach to teaching Buddhism, presenting ancient Buddhist wisdom in a way that can be easily applied to busy, modern lives. Linda teaches the weekly Monday evening class in West Seattle.
