Yin Yoga is a passive stretching practice focused on mobilizing joints and lengthening tight muscles.
Myofascial release (MFR) breaks up adhesions or “knots” in our muscles and connective tissues, allowing the Yin practice to become even more effective.
In combination, these methods create a pleasantly thorough stretch and restoration, helping to relieve pain from issues such as poor postural habits and repetitive movements in sports or other exercise.
Our practice will be carried out in a focused and mindful way, promoting mental relaxation to assist the body in the process of letting go.
By the end of our time, you’ll be moving and breathing more freely, walking into your weekend calm and energized.
Seasoned practitioners as well as those who have never set foot on a yoga mat are welcome to attend.
