Anyone who suffers from anxiety and stress knows how debilitating it can be. Managing anxiety can be a constant silent challenger. It can create feelings of limited control, low self esteem, frustration, panic, fear and defeat. Whether you’re feeling anxious, stressed, overwhelmed or conflicted, this simple, easeful 2 hour workshop will take us on a journey to soften back into ourselves.
In this Yoga for Anxiety workshop we’ll learn practical tools to cultivate balance when faced with day-to-day challenges by working on calming the nervous system. We’ll explore grounding practices and techniques that you can do at home or work to help alleviate stress and anxiety. Expect asana (poses), meditation, pranayama (breathing), and aromatherapy.

You’ll receive a handout with tips and tricks, as well as journal prompts for self exploration. Leave this workshop feeling balanced and grounded with the tools you need to give the very best version of yourself to the world. All levels welcome.
A special essential oil blend for anxiety will be available for purchase.

Cost: Ticket price $35 to general public, Studio Flora yoga class passes accepted @ 2 classes for 2 hr workshop/yoga.

Colleen Bell (E-RYT 200, RYT 500) believes that Mental Health should be part of our national conversation to help release the stigma. She has trained with Tiffany Cruikshank & Yoga Medicine in Yoga for Mental Health. She also has training in Emotional Wellness from Christy Fischer and Laura Yon Brooks of Phinney Ridge Yoga. Colleen has experience with feelings of anxiety and looks forward to sharing with you! Anxiety shows up in different ways for each of us- there is no one size fits all prescription or diagnosis.
