Are you new to yoga, and looking to begin your yoga practice? Great! You have come to the right place! Our comprehensive, introductory Yoga for Beginners Series at Aham Yoga is designed for students who have little to no experience in yoga. During this series, we will cover the fundamental poses with a key focus on alignment, technique, breathing patterns, and mindfulness – perfect for a novice in yoga! No prior knowledge of yoga is necessary. The class is structured to the level of the participants, and is an ideal start to a safe and lifelong yoga practice.
Our Beginners Yoga course will help you understand and connect with your own body, leaving you feeling stronger and more open. For those who are hungry to learn more, we will provide homework to keep you doing yoga between classes. More information on this will be given at the start of class. With consistency, your practice will begin to alleviate daily aches and pains due to lifestyle, as well as equip you with the ability to cope with stress more effectively and leave you feeling more rejuvenated and relaxed.
All of our classes are at 70 or 72 degrees. It is best to pre-register for this course as we accept a limited number of participants per Beginners Series. After the completion of your series, the next steps will be to begin practicing in our on-going Level 1, 2, and 3 classes. Our team will guide you through your options halfway through your Beginners Series.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your level of practice, or whether or not our Beginner’s Series is suitable for you, give us a call or e-mail us at learn@ahamyoga.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
We offer beginners yoga classes on Wednesdays. Each series is 6 weeks long. We accept new enrollments only at the start of series and not in between.
