This All Levels Hatha Yoga Class offers a healing space for those identifying as persons of color to help improve their physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing. The Yoga for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color class is an entry point for people new to yoga, as well as a means for those with yoga experience to continue to evolve their practice. There will be an opportunity to listen to each other’s stories and learn how yoga philosophy and its practices, can be used to reclaim personal power, and heal the experience of being a person of color in America. The ability to regularly come together – to move our bodies, breathe, and explore mindfulness teachings in a space that is both racially and culturally affirming – helps us discover and cultivate a consistent personal practice that strengthens our vitality and our sense of self.
