Yoga as Healing offers a safe space for survivors to explore reconnection to the self through mind, body, and spirit. Survivors of sexual violence may experience a myriad of challenges including how to stay present and create a sense of safety within one’s self. Yoga, with a focus on self-acceptance, can provide survivors a means to reclaim their bodies and become grounded in the present moment as they flow breath to movement in a guided yoga practice.
