What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra is a method of guided relaxation and meditative self-inquiry that can take place resting on one’s back, sitting in a chair, or even through slow paced movement.

Each class will incorporate some gentle yoga to help the body release tension and a long 35-minute guided Yoga Nidra practice.
Through visualization and guided relaxation, an experienced facilitator will support you in releasing layers of habitual tension in the body and mind. This process allows a person to access a state of awareness and realm of possibility that lies beyond habitual physical, emotional and/or belief patterns, clearing space for a new and more resilient way of being.

Rooted in the Vedas, Yoga Nidra has been practiced throughout the world for over 1,000 years. Current research has found that a regular practice can effectively support things like:
– Resiliency and moving through creative blocks
– Pain management
– Emotional wellness
– Healing from illness
– Better sleep
