Sweta Saraogi is hosting a donation class for Street Yoga to initiate the New Year: Divine Deities, their Beauty, Sacred Mythology, Relevance, and You!

This 90 minute workshop explores how a deity is an expression of the Divine, through asana, meditation, storytelling and chanting. In this immersion, we will learn how to embody the powerful expressions of the deity, ultimately guiding us on a path to experiencing the Divine in ourselves, and in every moment.

Who should attend?

Both beginners and advance students who are looking for the hidden gifts of yoga and the story of ancient yoga mythology and their relevance to modern life.

About Sweta Saraogi:

Sweta is an urban mystic, who seeks to learn through experience, integrate spiritualty and the principles of yoga into everyday life. Sweta’s mission is to share the gifts of yoga with all. She strives to bring the philosophy of yoga to our modern day western life through teaching, writing, sharing, serving and driving positive change. Her teaching style is a delightful mixture of mythological storytelling, playful movement, safe yet dynamic sequencing, and precise instruction filled with intuitive and healing hands on adjustments. She leads a private yoga practice in Greater Seattle Area, is a contributing writer for Seattle Yoga News and serves on the Board of Street Yoga as a Treasurer.
