Bob Smith & Ki McGraw from the Hatha Yoga Center invite you to enroll in their 2016-2017 Yoga Teacher Training program. The program runs October 2016 through December 2017. The weekend trainings will take a break July – September of 2017, however they will resume in October of 2017.

Ki McGraw and Bob Smith have successfully led over 20 YTT training groups over the past 17 years and look forward to leading another one. Ki and Bob are accomplished hatha yoga practitioners and meditators with a combined teaching experience of more than 60 years and they have put together a powerful set of two day weekend trainings. All workshops will take place at the Hatha Yoga Center in Seattle.

In these weekend training sessions you will receive asana, pranayama, and meditation instruction; as well as Yoga philosophy, anatomy as it applies to asana practice, and many other pertinent aspects of teaching Yoga. During the program you will learn to teach Yoga safely and wisely, with many opportunities for student teaching. Ki and Bob’s Yoga teacher training program is registered by the Yoga Alliance. There will also be individual tutoring with Bob and Ki by attending certain classes at the Hatha Yoga Center. You will be able to choose these classes during the course of your study in this program.

20 hours of Yoga Anatomy will be offered in spring of 2016. Asana practice and learning how to teach asana will always be an important part of each weekend – some of the afternoon subject matters for these weekends will include: pranayama, meditation, lineage, the Yoga Sutras, the Upanishads, mantra and yantra, living the life of a Western Yogi – Yogini; ethics, anatomy as it applies to asana practice, how to work with injuries, and specific practices of teaching.

You must have practiced Hatha Yoga for at least two years before you can be admitted.

$2,400 for the full 200 hour YTT, to be paid over the course of the study.
