Aditi Yoga & Wellness is a studio in Wallingford, where certified practitioners known for their devotion to the physical and emotional well-being of mom and baby can be found. The studio’s integrated approach supports women through each stage of pregnancy and beyond through its prenatal & postnatal classes.
✓ Prenatal Yoga: Safe for all stages of pregnancy, these classes combine strength training, flexibility and focus in a lovely community setting. Open the pelvis, strengthen the back to support the extra weight of pregnancy, and build endurance for childbirth. Classes also include pranayama, or breathwork, which can help calm the mind and spirit. Share the joys and trials of your pregnancy, while taking care of the body and baby.
✓ Postnatal Yoga: Postnatal yoga classes help women regain strength and energy that may have been lost during pregnancy. Classes specifically focus on rebuilding strength in the abdomen, back, and pelvic muscle. They also encourage a release of tension in the shoulders and neck and opening through the chest. Classes also address common issues and concerns that may arise in this new chapter of life.

The 8 Limbs Yoga Centers are located in Capitol Hill, Wedgwood, Phinney Ridge, and West Seattle and offers a comprehensive and accessible perinatal program to support women during pregnancy, while preparing for birth, and postpartum.
✓ Prenatal Yoga: is an amazing way to prepare your body and mind for labor and parenthood while relieving many pains and discomforts of pregnancy. The classes are taught to embrace both the novice and experienced yoga practitioner in this special time. Teachers offer safe modifications of standard yoga postures that will: strengthen the muscles that support a growing belly and changing body, relieve tension caused by soft and hard tissue changes, and challenge body and mind to prepare the pregnant person for the challenge of labor.
✓ Postnatal Yoga: addresses the aches, pains and energy challenges of the postpartum parent (parents of all genders are welcome). Each class starts with a check-in so that parents can give each other support and feedback and the teacher can create a class that addresses the current needs and physical level of the group. Bring your baby or come alone. You are also welcome to bring a friend or family member.
Mondays @5:45–7pm, Tuesdays @1:30–2:45pm, Wednesdays @1:30–2:45pm & 7:15–8:30pm, and Saturdays @9–10:15am
