This is the March 2016 edition of the Seattle Yoga Studios News & Updates, which will provide you with the latest news yoga studio news in the Greater Seattle area on a quarterly basis. Our last update was in December 2015.

Ashram Yoga opened up a new studio in Downtown Bellevue. The studio offers Bikram, vinyasa and yin yoga classes. The studio is located in the Elements building at the same location where the Yoga Element studio was located.

Lila Yoga in Madison Valley, has rebranded as Live Love Flow. They now offer cycling and yoga classes to members. There are now 2 Live Love Flow studios in Seattle, the other one is located in Capitol Hill.

Laughing Buddha Yoga Studio and Healing Center in Mill Creek, WA has closed its doors. The studio opened in 2009 and does not have current plans of re-opening. To read more about the closure, visit Laughing Buddha’s website.

True Self Yoga raised money with crowdfunding campaign to open their new yoga studio. The studio is located in Olympia, WA.

Barre Bohemian is opening a second location in the Phinney Ridge/Greenwood neighborhood in April 2016. Barre Bohemian is Seattle’s first independently owned barre studio and is owned by Adrienne Kimberly. the first location is in West Seattle.

Om Culture began hosting their weekly Spotlight on Yoga series. The Spotlight on Yoga series brings some of the most experienced Seattle yoga teachers to the Om Culture every Friday evening for a yoga class that only costs $10 to drop in.

Seattle Yoga Lounge in Greenlake, launched a new Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program. The program will bring together the teachings of Dharma Mittra, Troy Lucero, Tina Templeman along with many other teachers in the Seattle area.

Just Add Yoga‘s BEER + YOGA program launched in January 2016. Join in on accessible yoga in all your favorites breweries! Wineries and cideries are next on their list.

Kevin Ng + KaisaFit are now Seattle Fitbit Ambassadors and will be teaching yoga and fitness classes in Seattle throughout 2016. Learn more about it in this article spotlighting Kevin Ng.

Street Yoga‘s Executive Director, Jessica Osberg is moving to India to pursue a fellowship. The nonprofit organization is recruiting a new Executive Director, to learn more and apply for the position visit our job section.
