This is the September 2016 edition of the Seattle Yoga Studios News & Updates and provides you with the latest news yoga studio news in the Greater Seattle area each quarter. Our last update was in June 2016.

Bala Yoga Fremont celebrates their 1 year anniversary in July 2016.

Strala Yoga in Interbay has been rebranded to Breath Body Soul as of July 26th, 2016. Owned by Sue Berger and Ashtyn Thomas, in conjunction to offering vinyasa classes, the studio also offers  jump rope, cycling, medicine ball work, barre toning exercises, and more for 1 minute each.

Leela Yoga is devastated from a studio fire. The community gets together to support the rebuilding of the yoga studio in Bothell, Wash. Lydia and Glen Lagrou are thankful for the support they’ve received from the yoga community.

Eka Yoga opens their doors in Queen Anne over Labor Day Weekend – October 4th, 2016. The studio owner is Angela Glaz. The studio offers yoga classes focusing on Ayurvedic practices.

8 Limbs Yoga celebrates their 20 years anniversary in October 15th, 2016. The studios are offering FREE AM classes and celebrating at their Capital Hill location into the evening. Check their celebration itinerary here.

Passion for Practice opened its doors in Bainbridge Island. Jenna McDonald is one of the yoga teachers and owner of the yoga studio. They celebrated with a soft opening on June 1st, 2016.

The Shambala Studio Seattle opened their doors in Ballard this August 2016. Shambhala Studio focuses on whole body wellness and offers rooftop yoga and barre classes, life coaching for women and nutrition and whole food guidance. Owner, Kristine LeRoss is a Martha Beck Life Coach emphasize working with women and young girls.

Yogalife has rebranded as Om Culture and offer yoga classes in Greenlake, Queen Anne and Wallingford.

Kanjin Yoga opened a location in the Hillman City/Rainier area. They celebrated with a grand opening celebration on September 30th, 2016. Kanjin Yoga aims to teach the basics of yoga, for mind-body wellness, to people who enjoy living life to the fullest. They believe that if one becomes more mindful, compassionate and balanced, it brings a deeper meaning to a life well lived.
