Here is one of my latest “slow flow” or “vin/yin” playlists. When I play music in one of these classes its to help set the mood a bit. After a seated mediation and intention setting I start to integrate the music as we move with breath. Something easy to feel the emotion from that gets you listening to your own feelings in the moment. And after connecting with breath, movement, sounds and so on I like to take a big chunk of the class settling into long holds, then eventually in to some hearty pranayama then right into into some guided meditation. So the music reflects that, about half way through it settles in to some beautiful wordless music and eventually into simple meditative sounds until we are back to silence. Just hearing the music of the rhythms of self and surroundings.
