This was the first time I interlaced old school, more common yoga tunes with the stuff I practiced to at home. This isn’t generally what I would play for older age groups or beginner flow, this is strictly for more upbeat vinyasa, hot flow, and power yoga.

It all depends on the the energy of the class. It was after I introduced this playlist to my classes that I really started looking into alternative music options for yoga classes. It was fun and different and a little loud. Sort of like my personality.

The playlist starts out slow and mellow and starts to quiet down again toward the end, preparing for savasana. As I mentioned before, playing similar songs during savasana seems to help some people relax.
